Acceptable Use Policy
This Acceptable Use Policy applies to every NextiaTax account, workspace, integration, API, mobile app, and AI-assisted feature. It forms part of the Terms of Service.
Use NextiaTax lawfully and with authority
You may not use NextiaTax to:
- break a law, regulation, court order, or another person’s rights;
- upload personal, confidential, financial, or copyrighted information that you are not authorized to process;
- misrepresent your identity, impersonate another person, or use an account obtained through fraud;
- facilitate tax evasion, fraud, money laundering, deceptive bookkeeping, or falsification of records; or
- send unlawful spam or commercial electronic messages.
Protect the service and other users
You may not:
- probe, scan, or test systems without written authorization, except for good-faith vulnerability reports sent to security@nextiatax.com;
- bypass authentication, permissions, plan limits, rate limits, or workspace isolation;
- access or attempt to extract another customer’s data;
- upload malware, malicious code, destructive files, or content designed to manipulate document or AI processing;
- reverse engineer or scrape the service except to the limited extent a law expressly permits;
- resell, sublicense, or provide shared access outside the seats and use permitted by your plan; or
- use automation that creates unreasonable load, disrupts availability, or interferes with another user.
AI-assisted features
Do not use AI features to generate unlawful content, discover another workspace’s data, evade safeguards, or make high-impact decisions about another person without appropriate review and authority. You remain responsible for checking outputs before relying on them.
Fair use and limits
Plan limits are part of the service design. We may throttle or temporarily limit unusually intensive use that threatens reliability or materially exceeds the intended use of a plan, even if a numeric limit is shown as unlimited. We will act reasonably and contact you where practical before taking long-term action.
Enforcement
We may remove content, restrict a feature, suspend access, or terminate an account when reasonably necessary to address a violation or protect people and systems. We consider the severity, recurrence, intent, and risk of harm and will give notice and an opportunity to respond when circumstances permit. We may preserve and disclose information when required by law.
Report a concern
Report security concerns to security@nextiatax.com and other abuse to support@nextiatax.com.
